It's not, it's just another mod that was associated with VIP styling. A few years ago, a group of VIP enthusiast decided to tint their cars green and it just carried over. Green tint is a nice touch, but not a prerequisite to VIP styling.

A few people ask before and I said "because green means expensive". I was just kidding though, but it made sense to them.

Here some pics of his ride i ran into in in the "All Silver GS's Must Come Together! (merged threads)" thread in the 2GS section. Its hard to tell for sure but they look green. Maybe he has better shots he can post up with more light shining through the windows.

wow those fogs look great!

i wouldnt think the green tint on the fogs would come out so nice...good choice came out really nice..

I was thinking of green tint but my car already had black tint on the car plus living here in TX you need as much protection as possible from the sun... I heard green tint doesn't block as much as the black tint.
