This is about as flush as I can get without messing up the toe when driving at normal height.

That is all the way down with these rims. At this height my fender is on top of the lip of the rim. The front offset is +15 and the rear is +20. I didn't feel like pulling the fenders, so I went with an offset that allowed me to just shave the fender down. The rear is at about negative 5 when down and the front is negative 3.5

if I could drive low with my kit I would, but bay area roads are terrible and I'd rather not worry about it.

Here is it at mid height.

Henry, yea with those rims that is as far as I can go. If I wanted to tuck my rims then I would have had to go with a less aggressive offset or pull the fenders. But I don't want to change the lines of the car. If I were to do a larger car like your LS I may want to just tuck the rims. But that is not even in the remote future.

oic what you mean now, chris. so you are saying that if you drop the car more, the fender will hit the lip of the wheels? damn that's close

seriously
do a newspaper pull, you will NEVER realize its pulled

get a stack of newspapers, like 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick
put over your tire, and lower the car on it and jump up and down in teh trunk. It will give you the MM you need to tuck wheel and NO noticable pull really.
