Only thing I see vip inspired is the fusa and kintsuna...Then again, every person I have seen with a fusa and kintsuna, still thinks they are vip.. go figure...

That's a sick IS but I don't think it qualifies as VIP. Atleast it's a Lexus. Not like other people tryin to pass of a Buick as VIP.

more than wheels springs and a fusa.

on someting like a big body VIP car its simpler, some subtle styling changes and have it dropped+aggressively fitted wheels is enough to be classified as VIP

but on something like the IS a lot more is needed, even for VIP "styled". i would think at least a kit.

then again, my car is still a work in progress so what do i know

gaaawwwwwwwwwwwddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

why!? Like I said before...Funa and Kintsuna DO NOT make you automatically VIP.

Where is the rim fitment? why are you lowered 1.5 inches?

This is what happens to a trend when it hits mainstream. People kill it by giving it their own definitions. Yea, go with what you like and make the car your own, but not at the expense of a true culture. Same thing with DUB and DONK or Lowrider styles. Quit diluting the culture!!!

definitely not volk gt-7's and veilside sideskirts.

Just clarifying***

the basic guidelines are that you are low and wide (flush rim fitment). There are a bunch of threads here on CL and vipstylecars that can be accessed which are full of information.

VIP, VIP styled or not, your IS is very nice. I love gold rims on white cars. While many die hard VIP followers don't consider the IS platform VIP, who cares. The Work rims are nice, the IS350 itself is nice, I did read in another section of some of the plans you have and I can say your car will only get better. Even if some don't consider it VIP styled, keep doing what you are doing. Looks better than a lot of so called wanna be VIP cars out there I think it is a great start to a car that still has the paper plates on it

sorry but i have to add to this, to make your car look more VIP inspired, you could black out the windows, pull the hell out of your fenders, and slam the car lower, and spacer the wheels. maybe an aggressive oval style exhaust can, with some angled tips. but the IS is still a sport sedan and not really a vip platform.
