Default 2006 GS430 UHP A/S tire recommendations

Hey guys. I posted this question in the general 3GS forum, but realized that I should probably post it in the tire forum instead.

I have a 2006 GS430 with Lexus g-spyder 18s, 245/40/18. I’ve owned the car for 5 years, and it currently has 135k miles on it. I live just outside of Chicago and about 75% of my driving is highway driving, the rest is suburban. I’m 49 years old, no Mario Andretti, but do like to toss the car around occasionally.

I currently have a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. They've been excellent. They have a little over 50k miles and it’s time to replace them. My previous set was also the A/S Plus. When it came time to replace those in 2013, I went with the new A/S 3. As soon as I drove off the lot, I knew I made a mistake. Whereas the A/S Plus were the perfect balance of performance and comfort, the A/S 3s were much more geared towards performance. While the car handled like it was on rails, the trade-off was ride comfort and noise. I found the A/S 3 to be just plain harsh. Michelin told me that the A/S 3 would definitely feel harder/harsher than the A/S Plus because they were made of a harder rubber, and also, whereas the load rating on the A/S Plus was 93y, the load rating on the A/S 3 was 97y XL. Apparently, the XL rating means stiffer sidewalls (at least that’s what they told me). Within a month, I found a new set of old stock A/S Plus, made the switch and haven’t looked back, that is, until now because I need new tires.

I’ve narrowed my choices down to the following 4: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Plus, Conti DWS06, Pirelli Pzero All Season Plus, and Dunlop Signature HP. The only reason I’m even considering the A/S 3 Plus is because I’m told that it’s an improvement over the A/S 3 in that it uses a softer compound. Also, of these 4, the only non-XL tire is the Dunlop.

Would love some thoughts here? Are there any I should rule out immediately?
