That they cost $56 each? Most aftermarket sensors retail for ~$30. For $56 I can get OEM sensors from Lexus!

I was about to pull a trigger on a wheel/tire package until I got to the TPMS page. Feels like a ripoff. I am better off ordering the wheels and tires separately and buying the sensors at a different place (even loosing free mounting/balancing in the process).

Soooo - is there anything special about the sensors Tirerack is selling? On the website it just looks like it is going to be a generic aftermarket sensor.

Your year/ model takes a more complicated sensor to show wheel positions than most of the lower prices sensors on the market. Not that you won’t find any for $30 but I have yet to see one I’d expect to last
