I had new Conti DWS tires mounted yesterday (love the tires) and Sears put some light scratches on the OEM wheels on my 2010 IS250.... There are some rougher abrasions around the edge of the rim. I specifically told the Sears Auto manager to note on the work order to be very careful with the rims since they are so easy to scratch. He wrote this in large red letters with a sharpie.

When I picked up the car, I didn't go back in to complain since the scratches were light and subtle, but I'm still not happy about them.

Still some scratches.... Should I just live with these, or try to get them repaired?

I assume it IS possible to get new tires mounted on Lexus rims without scratching them at all?
