Falken FK-453 vs Hankook V12 tires on 2IS
#46
I am about to purchase a set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 K120. My car is lowered a bit (not sure how much because I bought it this way), currently has 235/35/19 on all 4. Thinking of going with 245/35/19 all the way around.
Think I will have any issues rubbing on the front? I don't know what offset my wheels are (on the car when I bought them). Its a 19x9.5 wheel however. Thought about going wider in the rear but like the idea of rotating them (i'm AWL as well).
Thoughts?

cant help much without knowing how much you're dropped. I am dropped aggressively, roughly 2-2.5" drop. I have 235/35/19 19x8.5 +35 front and 245/35/19 19x9.5 +35 rear.
the front will rub against the fender liner, not the fenders. After a bit of rubbing, that stupid little nub on the fender liner will crack and then it's all cleared lol. Some people used a heat gun and pushed it in to not rub. I didn't.
The rear sits VERY close to the fenders. My rear fenders are rolled so I have a good amount of clearance.
I dont have any rub except on hard turns and big dips.
Seems like the 235/35/19 that is on your car already is calculated by the previous owner. I would go with that all around

Thanks for the response. The car isn't dropped that much, I can see that I have plenty of room on top of the wheel vs the fender. I even checked with the wheels turned both ways and have plenty of room to go wider in the front. Im considering going wider in the rear just because my rear wheels look so skinny however, I do like the fact of rotating them since im being told the rear wear on the inside because of the suspension isn't perfectly straight up and down.
