Arrow GS300 w/ is350 18' staggered rims, what size tires?

I am in the market for a set of is350 staggered 18' wheels for my 02' gs300. One question I had in mind was what is the best tire size for comfort, the current oem 16's will become my winter set. On Tirerack.com the 02 gs3 optional 18' search filtered 245/40-18 (fronts) and 275/35-18 (rears) would these be a problem since the rear of the is350's are a staggered setup?

im not looking for a stretch or low profile look. These are pretty much going to be for everyday driving but yet add a little look as well so my main concern will be towards comfort and not appearence, the lowest I would think of dropping the car is no more than a eibach prokit or l-tuned springs, so when the time comes would the tire setup stated above cause any rubbing? last but not least does anyone have any recommendations as to which tires would accomodate my daily driving habits? 80% city 20 % highway. Sorry for all the Q's not really familiar with the tires/wheels scene.

if you get the is350 wheels
the frt wheels are 18 by 8 and the rear at 18 by 8.5. for this set up, i used 245/40/18 in the frt and 265/35/18 in the rears. no problems and it was lowered on the l-tune springs and shocks.
hope this helps you

I had my 99 GS400 on these IS wheels and my tires were 245/40 and 255/40. It was lowered on LTuned and worked well. I wanted to get closest to factory OD tire size but not under it.
