Default Dark Green SC4: Chrome or Silver GS4/IS3 rims?

I am saving up for a set of GS4 or IS3 rims for my SC4 now.

The problem is, I can't decide whether I should go with the chrome ones or silver ones.

Could anyone please advise which look better (in your preference) on my car?

Decisions decisions...

Thanks.

Jon

Default Would 255/40or45/17 "front" tires be okay for my SC4?

Help...

Has anyone ever had 255 tires up front on their SC?

Will they rub or cause damage to the car? If so, what's the widest tire I can go with up front?

Thanks.

I have 17/45/245s in the front. They don't rub. Getting wider tires will reduce your turning performance/ability.

Go with the GS4 chrome...The IS300 are too skinny for the SC...

Thanks for your inputs, guys.

But... Arrrrgh.. this is getting hard for me.

All the good deals I've been able to come across are silver wheels.

How about this.....? Would it be better for me to keep my existing chrome 16' GS3 rims or go for 17' Silver GS400 rims?

Thanks for making my choice easier.

There's a tire shop like 2 blocks away from me that sells brand new cheapo 17 chrome wheels/tires for $750.00 mounted and balanced and installed!

I was very tempted but then again.... I'll probably get laughed at for putting those things on a Lexus.

1st and this is off subject but i think its easier if when u quote someone u respond under the quote as opposed 2 on top but its up 2 u...

2nd if don't get cheapo 17's chrome or silver....and this is just my opinion buti think u'r better off with the silver gs17's or just stay with u'r chrome stock 16's until u can get the chrome gs17's if that is what u really want, don't get wheels 4 the sake of getting wheels....!!!!!!!!

I bought silver ones. Then fitted Pirelli PZero Nero tires. Superb.

Chrome or silver GS 17s look great on the SC. I have seen a lot of SC cars with them.

Also the new 18in wheels from the 2004 LS430 look great, and I think they would look very nice on the SC.
