Ouch Dennis, that hurts just to see that kind of damage on your tire. Any chance you'll get new tires before the Queens NY meet?

Kumho Ecsta MX 245/40/18

I've had those tires for just about 6 months....

they are not bald... but the outer rims of the tires were pretty low on treads...

*** HOS are inexpensive, but they're not supposed to have poor quality.

I came from BMW tuning communities and many enthusiasts, even some track gearheads, love Kumhos for its price, performance and quality.

Maybe you happened to have purchased a defective tire?

At any rate, best of luck and hope you'll get this problem taken cared of soon.

Regards,

Jon

That's odd because it is usually the inner edges of our tires that wear first, not the outers, due to negative camber. Mine are wearing more on the inner edge, even with my alignment within specs. It's usually worse on lowered cars.
