Question on 20' chromes on RX330
Well im planning to purchase 20's real soon and i dont know if i should go with regular chromes or spinners. If i go with regular chromes i probably would go with the Maido III LS5's which is about a grand each. But then again spinners look nice too Few of my friends said spinners would look nice and some said it would look cheesy on a mini sized suv such as my RX330. So i decided to ask professionals such as you guys since my friends have rice rockets themselves such as hondas with pea shooter exhausts and vtec stickers all over the place

I agree with DGOT20's, get the real deal if you want spinners. IMO I would get the Maidos, and spend the extra cash you were planning for the spinners on maybe some type of custom audio, or tv setup. Don't blow hard earned money on those played out fakes. Also think about 22's, just a thought.

Yea i agree Maido's are great sets of wheels. If i was to go with spinners i was thinking about going for the Lowenhart LD5 sp6, hm would they be imatations? And yea 22's would be awesome but i live in NYC and already enough 20's would give me a bumpy ride I have no idea how to post pics on threads so here are some links to pics of both rims.

If u do get spinners, please dont buy the ones that stick out a few inches from the wheel (add-on spinners). Those things are hideous. There is a guy around my area with a beautiful CL500 that has those ugly *** spinners, makes me want to puke. Ruins the look of the whole car.

yea true, add on spinners do look pretty cheesy. But anyhow earlier today i stopped by a wheel place and asked if a Maido LS5 would fit on a RX330. They told me no, that i would be needing spacers. Im not aware how bad spacers are for cars but i hear its pretty bad. Hm if i waited a bit longer would they come out with the right size for a RX330 or should i go with spacers?

I was pretty sure they had a way on that site to order the correct offset for the Maido LS5's. I don't see why you couldn't just order the wheels with the correct offset. No spacers required then. I can't read Japanese so I can't be sure.

At first I thought spinners was kinda cool, now I think its just a stupid gimmick. Get some high quality wheels instead. SOME people might be impressed with spinners, but everyone would be impressed by a top-notch 3 piece wheel.

Im in Queens but i'd be willing to drive anywhere to get these rims. And if by any chance you can find out the correct offsets for my 330 that would be great but no biggie if you can't. Thanks for all the help
