Considerations Now For Future Brake Upgrade
Does anyone know what considerations I should be making now as I look for new wheels if I'm planning to possibly upgrade my brakes sometime in the future?

The wheel manufacturer should be able to determine whether or not a particuar brake kit will work with a specific wheel.
I would recommend deciding on a brake upgrade first- you don't have to buy it just yet, but if you know the manufacturer's "brake template number," the wheel manufacturer should be able to determine if the wheels will work before you purchase the wheels.
Some aftermarket brake manufacturers even have data on what wheels will work with their brake kits- this is difficult, because it basically invoves trial and error, whereas the wheel manufacturer can compare the profile of the brake with a drawing of the wheels' cross-section.

You could also just do the maximum clearance...For example, on the GS, I think the AP racing 6-piston setup is the widest brake kit so if you get a disk/offset that will clear the AP's, you'll clear all the other kits.
But the best thing to do is to figure out which kit you're going to get and then get the right wheel setup for that brake kit.
