Default Do Luck Wheels For Sc4

I'm about to buy some do luck double sixes for a '93 sc4. but i need to know a couple things and i have done a search but there is really no definative answer for most of these questions. i want to go with 18x9 in the front , and 18x 10 in the rear with 245/45 in front and 275 /45 in the rear. will this work without rolling or shaving the fenders with the right offsets . which takes me to my next question i also need to know the offsets i will need . i read that you can go between +35, thru +42 but i want the offsets with the biggest lips and enough clearance because i plan to do a brake upgrade later. again i want to do this without any mods like rolling or shaving the fenders. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Those are nice wheels but not the wheel to do if you want maximum lip. You can see by the design of the centers that the spokes come out very far (but it should allow some good brake clearance). It is a very good looking wheel though! (one of my favorites)

On my 20x8.5, I ran a +43 so on a 18x9, I would do a +42...with that said, that will extend 7mm MORE to the fender and 5mm MORE to the suspension...I would opt for a deeper offset if possible but if +42 is the lowest they offer, guess you'll just have to try it out. It SHOULD be ok but w/o having done it myself, I don't want to say for sure.

On the rear, a +45 or so should work out fine. Sorry that I can't give you a definite answer but I did all my research based on a 20" or fat 19" setup. With the smaller overall diameter of a standard 18" setup or even a standard 19" setup, you can do more aggressive offsets but let me warn you right now, the SC doesn't support very aggressive setups w/o modifications.

Another thing that turned up on my research is that you shouldn't lower it too much up front as the Sc has very shallow fenders. Makes the stock GS look like a DTM style fender setup....

hey manaray thanks for your informative reply just got to say i love your car. anyways i'm really pretty stupid about all this offset stuff but heres the link to the do luck site http://www.do-luck-usa.com/wheels.html and it tells you all the offsets that they offer. so maybe from lookin at that info you can tell me which offsets are better than the ones you already told me because you said i should go deeper and im not sure what you mean by that? also i know im not going to get a 3 to 4 inch lip with this wheel i just want to get the maximum lip that i can with still enough room to do a brake upgrade later and without doing any modifications. so do you think the 245/45 front and 275/45 rear will be possible or should i just get the sidewall at 40 all the way around? once again i really appreciate your help and any help i get in the future.

Stick with the 40 sidewalls....45 will make your wheels look like donuts. (like the stock wheels)

Post your email address and I'll help you out some more...

Just for reference, take a look at this Skyline...this is Do-Luck's own car and it sports a 9.5" or a 10.5" (not sure which as doing a staggered offest on a 4WD car is generally not recommended but they make both size for the Skyline)...look at the lack of lips...bad wheel choice if you want lips. On the SC, you will have little to none.
