Default Can Drilled rotors resurface?

Just a quick and simple question.

I went to midas and Firestone auto center. They said that they are not able to resurface my drilled rotors. Is this true?

I had my drilled / slotted rotors resurfaced. Actually did it at the Lexus dealer, think it depends on having the right equipment.

Default Special

Drilled/Slotted rotors require a special lathe to resurface, very few shops have this equipment.

I've had cross-drilled rotors for over 2 years, put new pads on twice, had to re-surfaced twice, no problems.

Yes, they can be re-surfaced. We can do them at my shop with our new Hunter machine. :-)

I'm still on original pads but then I only have a 1/3 the number of miles on my car I guess.
