Toyo Proxe T1-S best tires available..on top of that they look awesome, tread design is awesome. Better then Bridgestone Potenza S0-3's IMO.

I'd highly recommend the Bridgstone S-03s as being top in class. Check the details that Brandon has posted up at the tire rack for top ultra performance tires for more details.

(edit, although I have NOT personally tried the Toyos to compare , just based on my research).

BTW, I'm moving this post to that forum (tires) as well where you'll get more focused responses.

I have recently had both tires. The S-03's on 19's (Fat set-up), and the Toyo's on 20's. The S-03's gripped better than the Toyo's under most conditions. However, I MUCH prefer the Toyo's for everyday driving. They are MUCH quiter and have a softer ride than my S-03's, even though I had more sidewall with my S-03's. The S-03' s are known to have a very stiff sidewall, hence a stiffer ride. If grip is what you want, go with the S-03's. If you want a better overall tire, go with the Toyo's.

my research also shows that the Toyo's run about $100 more per tire than the S-03's, so are they that much better cause I was just looking at switching from my Toyo's to the S-03's to save the $400

Default hummm which one should I go for

I want grip more then anything, and I was pretty satisfied with the S-03 when I had em on my 18s. I guess the s-03s might suit my driving better. But what about the wear and tear comparing the 2. would the T/1s have a longer life time then the s-03s???

i have the toyo's on my car now and they are great. toyo's can go wider than s03's. i believe the max size s03's go is 265 and that is too small for me. My ride is hard enough as it is. I don't want the s03's to make it even rougher. I don't think the s03's grip harder than the toyo's i've had both and they were about the same. Toyo's are quieter and look better anyways =x

I haven't tried the S-03's yet so I can't compare but, I have Michelin Pilot Sports on my SC. Great wet and dry traction on them.
