Default Tires different from the front and the back...

Hey guys,

Right now all 4 tires are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. My rear 295/35/19 tires have 50% tread left.

I've looked around for the 295 tires and assuming I can't find this same tire, do you think it's ok if I replace it with 295-35-19 YOKOHAMA AVS AV1-35i TIRES.

I'm assuming since I had A/S, this are similar to it. Thanks alot.

Bryan

I think it's ok to run different brands of tires in the front and rear.

the only thing with different front and back tire patterns is sometimes it can produce some pretty bad road noise...

Default Same Speed rating...

If the tires have the same speed rating then you can mix them so long as they are not used on the same axel. You always want to run the new tires on the rear and the best 2 used tires up front if they are the same size. Ideally the vehicle will have all 4 of the same tire.
