would this oversized combo fit on the sc?
heya
my oem size tire/wheel is 225/16/16
since i've put on my bodykit, i'm coming very close to grinding the front bumper everytime i leave my driveway so i was thinking instead of going back to my 18s, i would oversize a set of 19s and go somewhere to recalibrate my speedometer (i will also oversize a set of 17s for my winter wheels). the combo i was looking at was 275/40/19 & 245/45/19, ~2 inches larger in diameter than oem. would this setup fit?
so will my car sit 1" higher (i will also do a set of coilovers at the same time without too much of a drop, i just need the extra stiffness of the coilovers)
thanks

why not go with a set of 20" and coilovers?
255/30/20 will give you almost an inch over stock circumference
245/35/20 will be OEM fit
If that isn't good enough, get the Canover air suspension...I doubt the 275/40/19 will fit w/o rubbing, not to mention calibration can only do so much...that is almost 8% off.

oops, i just noticed that i had my stock tire size wrong in my previous post, it's 225/55/16
i was thinking 20" but i haven't found any styles in my price range that i appreciate. also, i think i can more easily fit a staggered setup in 19" (more lip) with 1" greater overall in diameter than i can with 20" and 1" greater overall diameter. also, there is enough rubber with the 19s where it's not dangerously thin for these colorado roads. maybe if anyone can reccomend me a site with prices, so far i've checked tirerack.com and tires.com.
So now i'm thinking about
245/40/19
275/35/19
haha, i'd love to do a set of canovers... but competent installers are hard to find around here and the price for a set is definitely out of my price range.
if the overall diameter is increased by 1", would the car sit 0.5" higher?
