Celica wheel fitment question
Greetings friends, I'm starting this thread to ask a question on behalf of a friend. Long story short: he has a 93 Toyota Celica that he purchased wheels for, he was informed that they would fit, the wheels DON'T fit, & he's stuck with them after spending some money.
The question is... is it possible to purchase adapters that could potentially form a fit between the wheels and his car? If such a thing exists where would one go about purchasing them? This may be a dumb question, but I honestly have no idea & I'm looking for someone to shine a little light on the subject. I tried to get more information in regards to exactly how or why they don't fit, & he more or less told me in a vague way that it's not too big or small, the placement of the bolts just isn't right. As always, I greatly appreciate anyone willing to share in the great pool of knowledge that we have established here at CL.
Thanks in advance, & rock on

from the information you stated, we really have noooo idea why they don't fit. oh wait, you said the bolt pattern isn't right. i think it'll be quicker and safer if he sells the wheels to someone that can actually use them, and buy himself a new set of rims that will fit. spacers and adapters can cause problems of their own, i don't like them.

I don't recommend them...
Spacers, if they are right, would not be too bad but it sounds like you need to change the bolt pattern. There are too many possibilities of potential failure with adapters and I do not recommend them.
