Bent Stock Rims
I searched this forum and nothing I could see to answer these:
I was in the dealership yesterday for a shimmy on the steering wheel, they balanced, aligned, and found out that my back two rims are slightly bent. Contributing to the harsher than normal ride. I have the stock 17" on a 99 GS4. Anybody have experience with wheel shops re-milling, bending back, etc? I hate to spend $400 plus on each of them, cause I am a cheap bastard. Thanks.

Wally,
you can certainly get them fixed, it's all a matter of cost. There are a few guys that will know of local places to go...check with a body shop to start out if they know a place. Or instead of the $400 each you'd pay at the dealer, check in the marketplace here. I think Yankees Diva has an odd numbered set that she is looking to either complete or get rid of.
