16 or 17 inch tires and rims for 91 LS400?
I am in the process of ordering some new rims and tires for my 91 LS 400 from tirerack.com.. I have chosen Borbet Type E wheels and Continental extreme contact tires.. I am trying to decide on whether to go with 225/50/16 or 235/45/17. Any advice would be appreciated.. the cost difference is less than $200 for the larger wheel and tire.. I am concerned about ride quality, handling, fit issues, etc.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Do 17's
You will regret if you do the 16's. The 17's have only a .6 inch shorter sidewall and still have an excellent ride quality and look way better. You can call me if you have any questions or place your order through any of the links or banners on this forum to give CL credit.
