Default Need help with IForged Wheels.

Hi Guys I need some help with these wheels. I am intrested in gettin the 20x8.5 and 20x10 Senacas on my 2000 GS300. I have heard alot of issues about these wheels. Some body on ebay has them for $2950 no tires brand new.He says he is an autherized dealer for them. Thats a great price. He says he wants half down for a deposit and the other half when there ready to ship in 3-4 weeks. He is willing to take paypal. Is he trying to scam me? Does anybody have any IForged wheels. Are they as good as HRE. Build wise. Does anybody know a reputable retailer who can also get these rims for around the same price. Any help would be great. I just dont want to be screwd out of 3000 dollers.

Gramma:

That looks very suspect. I don't know pricing on iForged wheels, but it seems too low to begin with. Although he has some feedback, there hasn't been much activity lately, and the few items you can view aren't consistent with a wheel dealer. Could be a hijacked ebay account (happens frequently).

You could check with Paypal and see how long he has been a member. If he's new, walk away. You may also try to verify his dealer status.with iForged. You need some kind of reference, and don't be fooled by pictures he's lifted from the net.

Personally, I think it looks fishy, and would walk away. I've seen several scams for HRE wheels on ebay over the last few months.

What issues are you talking about? I assume they aren't good.

Default talk to Manaray

Send a PM to Manaray, he knows all about the iforged wheels..he has them on his GS 2950 does seem a little bit low, but it's not half price. Go to the iforged site to see retail price lists. True there have been scams on ebay for all kinds...there is one for HRE that the guy posts for a specific wheel, and then says he can get whatever size you need, just wire the money to an int's account...yeah right away.

Remeber what DAVEGS4 always says "If it SOUNDS too good to be true, it probably is"

yeah it doesnt sound right . I talked to the guy and he gave me some BS. I called IForged and they dont know him. I talked to some guy named Vince and placed an order with him. I got a good price. Better than there retail prices. I paid 1500 deposit and the rest in 4 weeks. Whats a good offset? I got 20x8.5 and 20x10.

Sound's right to me. I've seen 19's IForged on e46fanatics.com go for $690/wheel.
