Question desperate need of help!!!!!!

hey guys,
Okay heres the problem: I have 20's with the wrong size tire and instead of buying different tires i put spacers on the front to stop the rubbing. the problem come when you go to put on the lug nuts. The factory nuts only screw down about three threads which in my mind is a little dangerous. I need to know if they make a lug nut that has threads that extend past the lug itself. This is very hard to describe but basically i need some lugs with longer necks that will allow me to tighten them past the bevel. I know this is confusing but any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot

In the future, try a search, I think myself and others have posted about this before.

To answer your question, you MUST get new studs. They shouldn't be much and when you do a search you should be able to find out where to get them, I don't know off the top of my head.

A thing to remember, most people think it is the worry of the nut coming undone, when it is really the matter of the bolt stripping the threads right off under pressure. I believe the rule of thumb is, you need 8 engaged threads to be safe, more then likely your only getting 3-5.

Get some longer studs and you will be good to go.
