What is the point of rims?

in favor of big wheels
I'll post my before and after and see if you notice a difference. Personally, I like it just a bit better with the wheels (but they weren't $2000 either). Here's the before.

sometimes something as simple as 'just' changing wheels, could make your car look heck of a lot newer, and even help you with resale value <if the taste is right..>

I'm getting them because they make the car look good, and not much else (like my rear spoiler).
The 19's will be heavier, slower, ride rougher, noiser, cost more, be more prone to damage/theft, hassle to mount/balance, wear faster, harder to clean etc....but I just can't stand the look of my car with small wheels on it. I wish I felt differently, but I don't.
If you are happy with your stock wheels, I admire you. You are blessed.

Lvangundy, sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the compliment on the wheels. They are HRE 448Rs. I will have to take some more pictures at some point, but here are a few more.
