Same size Winter tire on staggered wheels?
I just purchased a second set of wheels for my 2016 IS350 RWD F-Sport which I will use in the warm months. My intention is to use the stock wheels in the Winter.
Is there any downside to running the same size Winter tires even though wheel width is 1/2 inch staggered in back? 18x8F, 18x8.5R. I know 235/40/18 for example would be safe for both widths. I would not be able to rotate wheels but could rotate tires with this strategy.
