I worked for CEC (Azev's US importer) several years ago, and my contacts there tell me the new C/F Azev wheel doesn't have a hope of passing US DOT tests... It's mostly a 'design exercise.' Neat concept though.

Also, it's too bad they use cast centers instead of forged.

very light as Richie said but like SoCal said, they should have done forged centers...I mean they spent all that energy making the lips light, then they smack on a heavy center?

Another issue (aesthetically) with them is that they'll make your wheels look MUCH smaller since the lip is black....so your 19's will look like 17's...

Biggie, if you're gonna spend that kind of money, why not get the new Rays Magnesium wheels?

True, these wheels where on an Evo 7 at Essen and they looked a bit smallish. The guys at Azev told me they are only making them in 18's.

its supposed to be a performance wheel, so we gotta excuse the appearance issue for them. the cast center is another stance though

and it won't pass DOT specs? that's just funny

Nice Biggie...the M3 is a nice car...one of the few BMW's I'd actually consider owning (if I got for a killer deal...that way I'm covered for repair expenses! )

Hey, what kind of wheels are those on the M3??? Hmmm...is that a 4" rear lip I see there?

yah Im getting a 2004 M3 SMG, and if Im not mistaken those look like I-forged wheels, and the lip on them is just amazing, I was also thinking about the SSR GT3 in satin with a polished lip would look real good on that car too
