How are Manaray Vr5 Quest Wheels?
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...threadid=80110
As per my sig I'm currently running 17" and would like to make the jump to 18". I don't know much about Manaray, but it's hard to beat the price. Please let me know what you think of these wheels and how they would look on a green SC400.
Thanks in advace,
Wolff

Drop it, but don't slam it!
Ok, I now want to drop the car a bit (1 to 1&1/2"). I don't want it slammed as the car is a daily driver, but I do want to clean-up the wheel wells a bit.
What can I run that will still be safe for the mean streets of MI?

Woops, I didn't make that clear.
I'm going to install the Tein Flex for the drop. What I want to know is what tire size would be good.
TIA,
Wolff

I'm looking to do the install myself and want to know what tire would look best AND be safe for the streets.
You know, it was clear in my head when I started the thread, but I guess I had a hard time getting it written down.

Clocker, from experiance I'd say go with the Toyo's T1-S's.. They have held up through everything I put them through.. I mean I have hit some wicked potholes and put major bents in my last set of dubs and the tires held up.. I had the P-Zero's before those and if you looked at them wrong they would pop... Also on 18's you can go with 40 or 45 series up front and a 40 or 35 in the rear.. Either way you'll be good..

Seems a little rich for my blood, as Kumho 712's in that size are around $120 from the tire rack and that's what I'm running now on my 17" wheels. Are the Toyo's $100+ better?
TIA,
Wolff

Clocker, has Sweets returned your PM's yet?? I haven't heard back from him yet..
As for the tires I payed $250 for the fronts, I'm not sure how the Kumo's compare but I know the Toyo's are a better tire.. $100 better I'm not sure...
