Default 18 inch Kaizers

I'm thinking of getting some 18 inch Kaizer rims. What is the proper tire size for a 97 ES300.
I wanna avoid rubbing and as many problems as I can. went to some websites and I think the tire size that fits would be 225/40-18.....is that correct? PLease help with as much info as possible, I'm looking to ppurchase these rims within the next month.... will I have to lower the car and how much will that cost??

you'll have to post your width to get a proper tire suggestion. for rubbing issues, your offset will also be important

well the tire width can be surmised from the tire size I listed above. The offset is 18 X 7.5
