18x8 and 18x8.5 AWD
The IS250 with all wheel drive was purchased with aftermarket 18x8 on the front and 18x8.5 on the rear. The front had 225/40/18 and the rear 255/40/18. The vehicles warning lights are coming on and drives very poorly compared to other IS250s. Dealership checked vehicle and attributes problems to different tire size with AWD.
My question, is there anyway to get the same tire height/width on the 8 and 8.5 rim size? I am trying to avoid buying new wheels, but will if that is only option.
I am hoping to get this corrected this week, so ALL help will be greatly appreciated!

You can do it, but you will have to do an in depth search for different tire dimensions. You need to have the same outside diameter so that the wheels all roll at the same speed. You are probably better off just buying a pair of the wheels you already have in order to not buy a whole set, and just run the same tire all around.

You will probably want to get tires with the original height so your odometer reads correctly. I'm not sure what height that is for AWD IS but 235/40/18 is the best size for all other driving factors.
I also recommend not pulling over any Black Sapphire Pearl IS in SoCA!
