Question Sumi tires?

Anyone running Sumi tires on their cars? I need new tires and just got quoted by a friend who owns a local shop and said they're decent and comparable to nittos. Figured I'd see if anyone has had any experience with them. My Nittos shred yesterday and have metal showing on the rear insides

Sumitomo tires you mean? Yeah, you're better than some; definite on the budget-friendly end of the spectrum.

You get what you pay for when it comes to tires; just keep that in mind.

Go to tirerack and read the reviews on these tires, not good. Like stated earlier you get what you pay for. If your looking for cheaper tires try Khumo. I had them on my car and they were better than average. Try discount tire that have good prices on tires and ship for free.

I used to have the htr zIII. Its a way better tire then the stock bridestones. Handling and traction was greatly improved. The only bad thing i had was when it had 3/32 tread left, it started to loose its handling. Its up to you. I've upgraded to Michelin Super Sports and that was a huge improvement over the Sumi htr zIII. GL on what tire suits you best.
