Dunlop SP Sports vs Turanza LS?
Ok, I've narrowed it down to these three tires for replacements on my '91 LS400:
* Dunlop SP Sport 5000
* Dunlop SP Sport A2
* Bridgestone Turanza LS
I'm an average driver, don't drive fast and just looking for a good, safe all-season tire. I know the SP-5000 is highly recommended here, but I'd prefer something that might last longer provided it doesn't sacrifice too much in peformance/handling/ride/safety. That's why I'm considering the Turanza LS and SP-A2 (both have 50K mile treadwear warranty). The Tire Rack ratings are very similar for all three and the rep I spoke with recommended the Turanza. So, what do you all think? What advantages would the SP-5000 have over the others for an average driver? Are there any reasons not to go with Turanza LS or Sport A2? And, if it was down to those two, which would you pick and why?
Looking forward to your responses! Thanks
