Default Is this too wide?

19x8 and 19x9 OEM Wheels. I am wanting to replace the OEM tires that are 235/40/19 F and 265/35/19 R with some Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.

For 19x8, I would like to replace the 235/40/19 with 245/35/19.
For 19x9, I would like to replace the 265/35/19 with 285/30/19.

I've done the calculations and the sidewall, circumference and overall diameter is the nearly the same if I ran this setup. I know the fronts will fit just fine. I would prefer to run a 275 tire in the rear, but by doing so, it will not match with the fronts. I prefer to run a lower profile tire than the recommended tires by the manufacturer, because I am lowered.

I know there will be overhang of the 285 tire, but how much will there be? I know 285 is recommended on 9.5" minimum, but can it be done? Can it even be mounted properly?

285/30 on a 9" wheel will bulge out a bit, but it will fit.

I don't see anything wrong with your proposed setup
