Help/Advice Appreciated: Wheels/Tires/TPMS for 2012 is350 AWD
Hi there forum members.
I am a proud new owner of a 2012 is350 AWD. I am happy with every aspect of the vehicle except for the wheels. The previous owner had Lexus slap on some chrome wheels and they are hideous. Not to mention that there are tremendous amount of curb rash, etc.
Anyway, so I recently purchased 4 new OEM G-Spider wheels off ebay. Before I mount them onto tires, I have a few questions:
1) Do I need to purchase new TPMS for the new set of wheels? (I found some used on ebay for $40)
2) Do I need a rebuild kit as well?
3) Can Americas Tire program these TPMS for me? or only a Lexus Dealer?
4) Is it possible for me to remove the old TPMS from my current wheels and use them in the new wheels and save the $40?
Any advice would help, thanks in advance.
