Default Need help choosing tires for - 10 GS350

Hi everyone I need some new tires for my 3GS. [RWD] (won't be driving on snow)
Factory size 245/40/18

Interested in the following (3) tires but need help deciding which one is better!
1. Michelin Pilot Sport a/s 3
2. Michelin Super Sport
3. Michelin Sport A/S Plus

Would appreciate all feedbacks/experience with any tires. Also, would like recommendation from other brands tires.

Hi xRYD3Rx,

The Michelin Pilot Sport AS+ is on its way out and the Pilot Sport A/S3 has taken its place. I would discourage against the AS+, if you can find it. If something happens to 1 tire, there is a chance you will not be able to find a replacement.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport (PSS) or the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 (AS3) are both fantastic tires. Of course the PSS is a summer tire and the AS3 is an all-season tire.

The PSS will provide a huge amount of grip, excellent cornering, and braking capabilities. The ride quality is the best out of the max performance summer category. The survey feedback has been great and we move lots of these tires. It is the tire to have for a drivers who enjoy max performance summer tires.

The A/S3 rides on the same internal construction of the PSS but the compound is an all season flavor. While it will last a little longer and can handle temps below 45deg, it will not provide as much grip as the PSS. It is still very good for an all-season tire however. You said you didn't see snow, and that is a good thing with the AS3. It does not perform in snow at all.

If you are in an area where it is always warm and enjoy amazing handling capabilities, the PSS would be the better tire. If you are more worried about tread life and okay with giving up some handling, the AS3 would be the better option.
