Have a 98 GS300 with 52K miles. I'm on my third set of tires and each set generated loud tire noise after approximately 15K miles. I continually rotate the tires and have had the car alignment checked but Lexus sees no problems. My car is all stock with 16" wheels. I have tried Bridgestone, Michelin and Yokahoma and have varied the tire width but each generates noise after ~15K miles. I noticed scuffing of outside edge of my tires which is probably causing the noise.

Is this something common with GS models and do I just need to live with it or is there something that I can do to fix this??
