Tire question: Yokohamas or Nittos?
I will be getting new shoes this weekend and the tire options I have are:
Yokohama AVS Sport or Nitto 555
Which would be the most quiet and have the longer tread life?
Appreciate any advice/help you guys can give me.
BTW...tire size will be 245x35x19 and 275x30x19

yup...I had those in 17" on another car and boy!!! If it gets hot in the summer like in miami...make that 15k miles like 10k miles b/c that sun can heat up htose tires quickly and eat those tires up!!! I currently have the Nitto 555 on my 20's and they are a bit loud, but they are tough and long lasting tires....my .02

Damn the AVS sports only last 15k?
I had the Nitto 555 on my acura Legend and I thought that the tires were pretty good, they were pretty hard, lasted long, noise not so bad for me, but only neg was that my tires would "chirp" every once in awhile - I was not even gassing. Grip was alright.
Now I have the yokohama avs sports in 225/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rears and I really like them a lot. Nice grip, on the road. Only things to look for is that if your roads are not paved well I sometimes get some "drift" from my tires if the road is all roughed up. I think because of the grooves in the tires the avs has, don't know. If you do a search for the avs you will see what others have said the same thing. No drift for me on smooth roads and only sometimes i get the small drift ... and I guess the ware factor is a bad - damn. Grip is good

Well guys...I put on my shoes and they look awesome!
I got some knockoff rims....
j/k, actually I got 19" Work Euroline LS with the Yokohamas. Wish I had a dig. camera to take pics, I might just get a disposable and take it instead.
Thanks again for the advice guys!
