Default What's required to put Acura rims on IS

I am going to try to put on my 19's from a 1999 Acura TL to a 2001 lexus IS 300. What's required? I think the hub is different or something like that.

I don't think anything is required. I believe they have the same lug patterns 5x114.3. IS's just usually go with a little wider wheel and a lower offset.

I did a little research. I'm trying to sell my Lowenharts BR5's here and I found that they should fit an IS300. I know you from AW.

I was under the impression that the bore of the Lexus was a bit bigger so you'd need hubcentric rings to make it work RIGHT?

I think it's something like 54.1mm while the lexo is 60.1? something like that, man I forgot. Hope I'm wrong so that nothing is required.

Good luck selling your rims!

All the guys on here that I have talked to didn't mention anything about the bore? They seemed to think that they would fit.

See ya

The bolt patterns are the same (5x114.3 or 5x4.5")

The TL has a hub-bore of 64.1mm
The Lexus has a hub-bore of 60.1mm

This means the wheels should physically fit, but will likely shake a bit since they will not be hub-centric to the smaller Lexus hubs. You can probably but smaller "hubcentric rings" to fit in the wheels for the 60.1mm Lexus hub bore.

The TL uses a very high offset wheel, depending on the width and offset of your aftermarket 19s, they might actually contact the suspension upright on the Lexus.

We need wheel width and offset data to say for sure. For example, the wheel might indicate "19x8.5 ET50" on the back of one of the spokes.
