My friend is selling me his 20 and tires with a payment plan of $250 per month for 6 months. Total is $1,500. If i get it, i can lower my air suspension to the OEM height than i dont have any problem with clearance.

Secondly, i noticed Eric have 20 and its not lower, but he have a body kit

This is what i find out:

Nitto 555
Front 245 x 35 x 20 is 26.69" Diameter
Rear 255 x 35 20 is 27.05" Diameter

Stock OEM 15"
205 x 65 x 15 is 25.5"

The front is about one inch difference that means it will only raise about 1/2" (one inch divided by 2 to get the radius) in the front. Not too bad. The rear will raise about 3/4"

Therefore, i can compensate the front with 1/2" lower and 3/4" lower at the rear. That will give me stock height.

What do u think?

I always thought the largest number was the width of the tread and the number that is 2nd largest the thickness of the sidewall? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I duno how 20's handle, but for some reason I think with your TT setup 20's wouldn't go very well..

Maybe 18's or 19's would be ideal (in my mind)

I'm just thinking.. how many race cars use 20's?

I think the most important thing about upgrade rim is the diameter of the tire, not the diameter of the rims.

Lex - I think you should go with 18"s or 19"s (max) and go with a coilover system..if possible with your air suspension. Maybe find a lightweight wheel.

The handling on your TT is a little erratic and potentially could be dangerous

Like jbrady said, the drag would be lowered if you dropped the car a little. So a little more speed and better handling.
