WHEEL ALIGNMENT - Am I being ripped?
Hi all...
1st sorry if I post in a wrong forum or it has been posted somehwere. I'm a newbie..
I would like your opinion. I went for an Alignment for my 2nd Gen GS300 & was charged $170. It says $85 for Crossmember Adjustment & $85 for 4-Wheel Alignment. Is the charges fair / normal? The mechanic said that the crossmember is off & need to be adjusted first in order to complete the alignment job. Attached are the computer read out and charges.
Thanks in advance for your input.

If it was my car and I was doing the alignment, I would have skipped doing it, but if you wanted it perfect, he did it... that's a great alignment after the fact, and it is a lot of work to shift the cradle to get caster back in to spec...
I've never actually had anyone agree to pay the additional to do it when necessary...
