Opinion on these GS 18's
Hey what do you all think of these 18's I am getting for my GS??? I like them because they are not wickedly extreme in size or shape. Y'all know I preffer the CLEAN, custom stock look.

GS 18's
Just to clarify, I am not dissing any rides here. I have seen some killer GS's with 20's, body kits, and paint jobs and all... I think they are works of art to be appreaciated. I just meant that I preffer to keep it as close to stock as possible... but a little diferent. Yes, these wheels are nearly the same as the stock, but in 18's. Reason why I like them. But much props to all the work(and dinero) some of these guys put on their rides.

GS 18's
I guess I just think that sometimes the bigger the wheels.. the more it takes away form the car. It's like you notice the wheels... then go, "hey what kind of car is that"??? It's all good though. It's all about what makes you happy. In the end, that is what matters.

^^^ I would agree with that when the wheels are CHROME. I mean when a car with chrome wheels goes by (especially DISH wheels in chrizome), all you see are the wheels...also, some car shave "too large" of wheels...ratio wise to the body of the car (where it starts to look a little too cartoonish...like a Civic with 20's...
A GS (or any Lexus other than a ES) can have 20's and not look like "all wheels"...that's why I like brushed, silver, graphite, etc. type wheels...they don't scream "look at me...look at me!"...they blend with the car better (also, good design wheels "accent"...ugly *** wheels just attract negative attention...like the Arelli ASSASSyns...those are SUPER BOOTY!)
And example of 20's looking "normal", check out the new BMW 7-series with STOCK 20's...you don't really "notice" that they're 20's because the size "fits" the car...I think 19's/20's "fit" the size of the GS personally...but like they say, to each his own...

i feel what he's saying about keepin things as close to stock as possible. that wasn't personally what it was that i was after, but i'm real picky, and i've ended up goin the similar to stock route. gettin' some simple 5 spokes, similar to texas style's, and mine will be chrome as well. i do disagree about wheels taking away from people noticing the car. i always make it a point to check ou the kind of ride that it is, ESPECIALLY if it's sittin on some tight rims. just sounds better when you're tellin someone about it later. by the way, i'm gettin 19's.
