just ordered 2 rears continental DW not the DWS. You should take advantage of the ebay tire direct promotion which is $100 off purchase of $400. If you're buying 4 tires you can probably split the order into two and save $200.

What sizes? Conti's don't wear very well from what I've seen...
Aside from all-season, how much do you care about all out performance???
I'm running 225/35/19 in front & 255/35/19 in the rear. I care about performance. I drive 50 mile to work and home, that way I kinda need high tread wear. I like taking corners here and there, something I excessively speed.

Tire wear also factors into how hard you drive and an accurate alignment. Toe is critical so that has to be spot on. What part of CA? Do you encounter freezing temps and or snow-ice?
As for wear, I typically get a good 40K+ on summer rubber. Our LS is pretty nice on tires. The current Continental DW now has 27K miles. I wasn't expecting much since they are asymmetrical and I can't flip them but so far, they are holding up well. I would probably buy them again if the formulation remains the same when they come due.
I just have replaced all 4 OE tires with DWS. Driving it for a week now, they are super quiet and ride quality is so smooth. The steering wheels feel lighter (may be also due to lighter wheels I upgraded) but handle and grip pretty good. I take fast and hard corner all the times and it just sticks to the road. I don't experience any flat spotting issue yet, no vibration at all, it is just damn quiet. The DWS somehow look little funny: round and fat compared to the summer Bridgestone tires which look more square.
