After the snow in NE here in US has lots of potholes. Does anyone knows what is a good size of tire that can turn a 17 inches rim into more meat(rubber) to absorb the potholes like the 16 inches 6 spokes rims?

If I recall, factory is 235/45-17... I know for a fact 245/45-17 fits no problem, this will be a little wider and a little taller, I would bet 235/50-17 fits as well, this is the same width and a little taller still...
