Default Help on putting rims I have on IS to GS

Didn't find the offset I have in a search.

I'm thinking of getting another GS when I'm ready to get rid of my IS. I have 18" OZ Antares on it and I wouldn't mind putting the rims on a GS430.
They're 18x8 with a 48 offset with a 225/40-18 tire. The offset is perfect for my IS and the OZ website for the GS says best offset for this rim on a GS would be 40.
But since I already have them...I would probably put 235/40 or 245/40 tires on the rims.
Would this setup fit OK without rubbing on a GS? What about if I lowered the GS with L-tuned springs?
Thanks for any help.
