Maximum tire size for 2010 RX450h

I have a customer that will be taking his 450h out of the country and want more road clearance. What is the maximum and how much additional clearance compared to the 235/55/19's currently on the vehicle.

Tire size 255/55-19 is the max size that will work on the factory 19x7.5" wheels. This size is about 1" taller in rolling diameter which means he'll be only gaining 1/2" of ride height.

Are there any options other than a lift kit to gain more ground clearance? Larger wheels and tires? Thanks for the help.

The maximum tire diameter with stock suspension is 30" which is how tall the 255/55-19's are. I don't know of anybody who makes a lift kit for a lexus, so 30" is it.

Wow, 30" tires on a RX. Would they rub or does the largest size mean they'd be contact free?

Don't confuse 30" tire diameter with wheel rim diameter which is 19". If I were going out of country with ground clearance on my mind I would take a GX460 or equivalent Toyota. Way more capable off road...
