Question Aftermarket TPMS - any experience?

Amidst all the TPMS' systems out there companies like Dorman make TPMS sensors.

Do any of you have experience with these? I can get used Toyota/Lexus ones for almost the same price as a new aftermarket unit.

From what I can tell these are stupid little devices that are based to run off a certain frequency range, so in theory there shouldn't be an issue with the computer.

Also, anyone have a set in steelies? [I normally get alloys, but it's not feasible since there's no deals I can get it's more than twice the amount of the cost this time around....]

Thanks,
Mike

I've found the generic ones generally work as well as OE units... They'll work just fine in steel wheels also.
