I really am feeling the SSR competition wheels in gunmetal. I don't think anyone on this board has em on a white GS, only silver. What do ya'll think? TO JDM looking, to racy looking, should I have a turbo for these wheels?

I still want my car to look classy, not totally racy. But the M3/M5 have that shadow chrome?

Just a thought.

Gunmetal would look good, it might too aggressive for other peoples taste and say it doesnt belong on a lexus, but I say be an Aggressor!

i think it will look great. i have seen white vehicles with dark wheels and it looks very good.

I checked out the SSR wheel. Although it is light weight, I don't think it compliments the GS well. Not classy enough. Looks like it should be on an autocrosser.

I think you are on-point with the color though. Manufacturers use the term "gunmetal" for a range of colors from dark, flat charcoal to a shiny, metallic grey (like the BMW's). I prefer the latter. It's not silver and not chrome, but somewhere in between.


Here's what I've got my eye on:

not sure of what those look like, but i do like those rims cyclemax posted above...the thing on hyper/gunmetal is it takes on the color of the car to almost blend/complement it....trust me, they look different on the car once mounted [not those riceboy gunmetal/all black rims] but the classy rich bimmer flavor as posted above. Very nice...just make sure they have nice lips

but, like cyclemax said, the finish varies in many "shades"..i prefer not too dark

yeah hey sick speaking of suspension, you ever get your Springs installed? I wanted to see how good of a drop, I wont be reunited with my car until Sunday, so Monday or Tuesday I'm gonna go get my rims/springs installed.

BTW i was thinking eventually maybe I might go up to GA since there are so many CL members from there. GA is only like 7 or 8 hr drive.
