Update: I purchased the Falken FK-453 soon after my post because at the time Discount tire was OOS of the Hankook V12. I finally had the FK-453s installed Friday 04/18/14. So far I can tell you even though they are the same size tires, the front tires seems slightly wider (they are both the same 235/30/20 size). The V12 had a little more of a stretch look. I was able to squeeze 38,000 miles out of the V12. As expected the FK-453 is a smoother ride and quieter, but I would expect that out of any new tire vs a tire with 38,000 miles. I will come back and update as time goes on.
You answered my question on mileage as I just put the V12's on my wifes IS250, thank you.

on my 3rd set of V12;s and love them, great tire for the price. but do get harsh at the end of tread wear, Havent tried the Falkens but have heard that they are not as quiet. about 35k miles out of them if you dont' drive it like you stole it. as they are soft like previousely mentioned.

I have not tried Falcon one yet so I can only comment on how good the Hankook v12 is.
The Hankook handles and grips so well. I run them on autocross and they provide excellent traction and grip. The steering feel is very accurate, direct and predictable. I had so much fun doing powerslide/drift the **** out of my IS350 on autocross with traction control off See picture below of the tires after few autocross runs.
It is very comfortable and quiet for daily driving as well.

I actually just installed some new Falken 453's on my front wheels this week and I can say I'm pretty happy with them. Ride is smooth as heck and quiet too. I previously had 452's and I can notice the difference in quality. Plus each tire was only $140 for 19s so it was a bargain. Only thing is that the thread design isn't as nice as the 452's but no biggie.

Recently put in the v12 hankook tires on my 19" rims. Even with 225/35 front and 245/35 rear. It's quite comfortable and only a bit more noticeably more rough than stock wheels. They make a bit of squeaks here and there but I think it is because they're new. Overall, I like them and would recommend them.
