Default Nail right in the middle of my tire...

My tires have less than 4k miles of easy driving on them, they look brand new!!!!!!! Is it safe to have my rear 285/30/19 S-03 patched/plugged?
Also, I DO NOT want to have to take the tire off the rim to do so.... Is this possible??? Please let me know asap.........

Yeah I had this problem, it was found during an inspection, the guy plugged it and he didn't take anything off. So I figure your good to go.

Default Good News and Bad...

The good news is that the location of your puncture means it is repairable (close to either sidewall is not). The bad news is that to do it right (how else would you do it anyway) you have to take the tire off the wheel. The tire can be marked on the wheel so it won't need to be rebalanced, just reinstall it the same way.

If anyone tells you it can be plugged from outside, go somewhere else.
