Unhappy Rubbing Problems with new rims . Please help 4es es300 18inch

hey guys,

I got rims for my 4es 2002 es300 and the back rub alot when i hit bumps or anything. Also the ride has gotten worse significantly from stock setup. I have stock suspension, struts etc. Also the tires on the back are now cracking and peeling due to the rubbing

The rims i got are

Xtatik element 18
35mm offset
with
BF Goodrich G Force T/A KDW 225/45/18 all around

Any suggestions to eliminate rubbing and make the ride smooth again???

Thanks

Find a shop to roll your fenders to eliminate or at least reduce the rubbing. Or, go with a smaller tire, try a 40 series tire and that might get rid of the rubbing without having to do fender work.

Ride quality will never be like it was with that small of a tire... unfortunately, that is something we deal with when we go to a low profile tire... you ~might~ get a slightly better ride with a more touring oriented tire, but nothing appreciable most likely...

Also, if you go to a lower profile tire, as suggested above, the ride will get even worse... need to find where it is rubbing, if, as expected, it is rubbing on the outer fender, then rolling the fender will help, if not alleviate the problem completely...
