will these wheels work? tirerack says yes
i am thinking about purchasing some wheels from tire rack. they are 18 x 9 in the front and 18 x 9 in the rear. tire rack states this will work on the front and rear. but will i have a problem with this setup of 245-40-18's on the front and 265-35-18's on the rear as they have suggested? i have mostly seen 7.5, 8, and 8.5's on the front, but not 9's.
will their be any rubbing? tire rack has been in business for a long time, so i guess i should take their word for it?
i have a 1996 SC400.
would it be better to run 18 x 8 with 245-40-18's on all four corners instead of the 18 x 9's?
the wheels are moda r6 clad with yokohama as es 100's.
this is my first post, i would appreciate all of the wheel experts out there to give me some feedback.

I would go 8" for better fit in the front. But stagger would be my first choice. 9" in the front may cause some problems if the offset is a bit off, or the sidewall is a tad too high on your chosen tires.

i agree with pcmw...staggered is a better way to go, and tire rack offers it on certain wheels. i see youo are in Atlanta, are you coming to the meet on 1/5 at Andretti Speed Lab? Check the south east section of the forum for details
