I'm expecting delivery of my new GS AWD in a week or two. Tomorrow I have an appointment at my dealer to go over paperwork and accessories. One of the things I was looking into was the F sport forge rims. My car comes with 18", how will the ride differ then the 19s vs the stock 18"?

Also it mentioned that they are finished in a "clad in a Liquid Silver high-gloss finish" Will this finish rub off similar to chrome rims from the salt and sand from winters here in NY? I have chrome on my ES now and it's a disaster. I don't want in a few years to have this finish flake off and look like poop and have tire issues.

Anyone have these and can post pics.

I have the GS 350 F-sport with those nice 19 inch forged f-sport rims and I have Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires on them. The ride is very close to the GS premium on the 18 inch rims and you will not get any negative ride feel from these 19 inch rims. Just get the 245/40R19 tires instead of the standard 235/40R19 tires which are a bit thin and not enough good choices of tires in that size. If you go with the 245/40R19 then you have excellent choices of Michelin tires. The finishing on these rims are superb and I have had no issues with them after 5 months.
